Teriyaki Tofu
Ingredients
14oz Firm Tofu
4 tbsp Cornstarch
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp seasame oil
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 white onion thinly sliced`
3 cups cooked rice
Recipe
Slice the tofu in half, then press both sides. Once pressed for 20 minutes, place in freezer.
Once frozen, remove tofu from freezer, allow to thaw, and press for an additional 20 minutes.
Dice the onion.
Slice tofu into 5x5 cubes, and place in bowl with the cornstarch and toss.
Add both oils to pan and put the burner at medium. Add onions and cook until translucent.
Add tofu and cook until golden brown.
Add teriyaki sauce, and allow sauce to mix and thicken.
Split across three ways, adding a cup of rice to each portion and enjoy!
